CALENDAR OF EVENTSNeuroscience Updates •••••A thorough understanding of the dynamic regional/systemic pathology encountered at the bedside is essential for the successful management of the neuroscience patient population. These challenging patients may exhibit dramatic, unexpected changes in their clinical status at any given time in the course of their hospital stay. Successful outcomes often depend on astute attention to detail and targeted therapy at the bedside. These updates provide an overview of the key elements of neuroscience patient management for the bedside nurse.
A Neuroscience Nurse Review •••••These two day courses are designed to present a comprehensive review in the care of neurological and/or neurosurgical patients. All nurses and allied health professionals who intend to sit for the CNRN Exam or would like a refresher course will benefit from these educational programs. Please Note: Due to changing regulations and the restructuring of Integra’s Clinical Education Institute, Integra will not be able to provide continuing education credits for its classes, including for programs like the CNRN Review. We will continue to offer these classes, however, and will offer a Certificate of Attendance, which does not confer credits, upon completion of the CNRN Review. March 12 - 13, 2012
