Cincinnati Quality Engineer Nicholas Bozovich Believes Quality is About Small Improvements
Nicholas Bozovich is a senior quality engineer who ensures the products we deliver fulfill regulations, standards and specifications set by external bodies and Integra. He works out of Integra’s Cincinnati, Ohio manufacturing facility which produces devices for neurosurgery and other procedures like liver surgery. In his career, Nicholas has held adjacent roles in engineering manufacturing and new product development and says he has always worked with the quality team so was well suited to transition into this area.
Nicholas shares, “When working in quality, you need attention to detail, accountability and partnership with different groups. Integra is a great place to do this because people are easy to work with – they’re direct and open about who they are and what they need to make improvements.”
Over the past two years in his role, Nicholas has learned the company’s systems and distribution centers to see how the supply chain works, which helps him in his job. Nicholas enjoys solving challenges in the workplace, and in his free time while playing video and board games. He finds that small improvements go a long way for healthcare systems, clinicians, and patients and that keeping a calm demeanor leads to the best results.
