TOPAZ KIRLEW is the interim chief regulatory officer at Integra LifeSciences. She is responsible for leading global regulatory strategy and activities in support of the company’s strategic priorities.
With more than 35 years of industry experience, Topaz has deep expertise in regulatory affairs, compliance, clinical trials, quality systems, manufacturing operations, and strategic planning across the medical device, biologics, drug, human tissue, cell therapy, and transfusion medicine industries. Her leadership philosophy, grounded in empowerment, excellence, and integrity, fosters a culture where teams can learn, collaborate, and thrive.
Topaz began her career as a clinical laboratory scientist in hospitals including the National Institutes of Health (NIH), Georgetown University Hospital, and University of Maryland Medical Center. She later held positions of increasing responsibility leading Quality, Operations, Clinical, and Regulatory organizations at Danaher Corporation, Apyx Medical, BioTissue, and University of Miami’s Diabetes Research Institute.
Topaz holds a bachelor of science degree in clinical laboratory science from Florida International University, an MBA, and a Doctor of Business Administration from Nova Southeastern University’s School of Business and Entrepreneurship.
